We would like to take this time to invite you to submit an application to participate in in the 47th Mayfair Holmesburg Thanksgiving parade! Please take the opportunity to apply for this event and join us The parade is scheduled for Sunday November 24th starting at 12:00pm.
The parade gathers at 10:30 am at the ON Frankford Ave between Rhawn and Stanwood streets
You can pass out invitations for your club, discounts for your business etc. along parade route (no throwing items into the crowd)
We are looking for entries that will entertainment of the public and showcase your entry. We welcome:
•Bands
String Bands
•Dance/Drill Teams
•Organizations
•Groups Marching
•Floats
•Clowns
• Youth/Toddler Groups •Women/Men Clubs
Marching Bands
Churches
Car Clubs
Pet Clubs
Businesses and employees showcase with banner or Vehicle
Please note registration deadline for the parade is November 15th, 2024
We will send an email confirmation once your application has been reviewed and approved within one (1) week of receipt. We will send correspondence with additional details regarding the parade line-up no later than November 20th 2024

We will have a stage set up with an announcer this year at Frankford and Knorr.
Participants will have the opportunity to perform for two to three minutes at this location.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME FLOATS!!!
We've also added the opportunity for our local community to enter in their own home-made floats. We will be awarding ribbons for the "Most Creative Float", "The Funniest Float", as well as "The Best Parade Themed Float".
All community floats and participants are the sole responsibility of the towing vehicle owner
The towing vehicle must be fully insured, and the driver / operator must be currently licensed.
All floats must be family oriented, and due to the Septa trolley lines, no taller than 12 feet high.
All floats must pass the Parade Committee inspection prior to running in the parade.
Each year the parade is put on through donor support and advertising opportunities.
