here's info about the project:

The Germantown Climate Resilience Planning project is a partnership between Germantown Residents for Economic Alternatives Together (GREAT) and the Academy of Natural Sciences (ANS). A Team of GREAT members are shaping the development of the project and connecting it to fellow community members; ANS brings their scientific expertise and resources to co-lead. Spanning 2025 and 2026, the project includes several community engagement activities, mapping of challenges and assets, practical skills, and identifying / producing solutions, resources, and policies to make Germantown more resilient to climate change.

GREAT is a partner for the April 26th portion of this event at the Water Shed. After the film you will hear from 3 women in GREAT who led Water & Flood Resilience Community Connectors projects with their neighbors. We're also partnered with Science Shop- a program of the Academy of Natural Sciences, and they will facilitate a discussion with the audience about what issues they are experiencing with water and flooding.

We look forward to learning from our fellow community members! Hope to see you Saturday, April 26th 3:30-5pm at 5300 Wayne Ave.
