Due to the weather, the 15k was reduced to a 5k. Not mad about it. Can’t wait for the cherry Blossom tomorrow.

There’s so much to love about , and I’m sure that I’ll spew a few more of these out over time, but one of them is the ability to massively scale in day with zero negative impact.

❌ In other social media ads platforms, if you scale more than 20% during the day, you run the risk of drastically decreasing important KPIs.

✅ In , it’s a pleasure to launch new creative in the morning, see that it’s working/producing, and be able to scale 500%+ with limited impact to CPMs, CTRs, CPCs, CPAs, ROAS, etc.

The flexibility to scale intraday is huge and can make or break hitting daily client expectations.

Anyway, did you know that I graduated college with a computer science degree?

Career paths are funny. From comp sci to finance to accounting to marketing partnerships and then into marketing.

Before marketing, none of them felt right, but they have all certainly helped to build to what I do today. Before business school, I always thought that marketing was 100% creative, so there’s that.

Luckily logic and analytics (and sometimes even coding) are a big part of marketing (think ROI analyisis, A/B testing, tinkering with website design, etc…). Skills I learned in computer science and finance. Happy to have them.

Don’t worry, my inner (and sometimes outer) nerd is still here making Milhouse jokes.

Can you believe it?

First of all, isn’t Philly just the best? But also, it’s 2023 and there are still eCommerce platforms that do not play nice with social media platforms.

In short, this means that there is no way to make a catalog in Facebook (a prime tactic to showcase products). This means that the platform is not helping with any of the below…

❌ There is no API between the platform to sync SKUs and inventory levels in real-time

❌ The ability to download a file of all SKUs/inventory and their associated attributes. This one is BONKERS!

❌ Allow users to add custom ecomm pixel code (Microdata Tags) at the product level

I work with companies that span industries. From B2C lead gen to B2B products. It’s clear that some industries evolve quicker than others, but it’s SUPER FRUSTRATING that this feature is not a platform MUST-HAVE in today’s digital-first world.

Does anyone have any solutions for me?
