Screaming, crying, throwing up. Which, to be fair, I do a lot of in this book- but this time it’s for a much more joyful reason: I am bowled over by the support you have shown Famesick. Almost two decades into my career, I know enough to know what a rare and special thing is to feel seen and heard, and this release has given me the opportunity to see and hear so many of you. I missed that.
And I don’t take a single one of you for granted. I am honored by every book in every pair of hands/ears and that Famesick made the #1 spot on the NYTimes, London Sunday Times, USA TODAY, and Indie Bookseller Bestseller lists.

Tour is going to be 50% cozy in bed, 50% being nostalgic together. First stop is this Sunday so I won’t have developed a filter yet. JK I never had one that’s what this book is kind of about 👁️👄👁️

It’s been almost 12 years since my last book tour (!?) and many things have changed— see compare and despair above for context—but clearly my love of hot pink and ironic sensual posing has not!
I could not be more excited to get out and see you all for a slumber party experience with a “pajama chic” theme. I’ll be reading from Famesick, answering advice questions (because the best advice comes from someone who has really *needed* said advice, or so I tell myself…)
In conversation with incredible guests Andrew Rannells, Emily Ratajkowski, Naomi Fry, Emily Sundberg… Not to mention: a digital hang for all my pals who need to enjoy from home for health and/or geographic reasons. Hosted by none other than Lindsey Weber & Bobby Finger of Who Weekly 🙂↔️
Last tour, I went absolutely E V E R Y where and I truly loved it. I saved every note, every crafty gift and remember so many of the interactions. But my body didn’t love me for ignoring her pleas for some consistency and calm.
I wanted to repeat the same route, but had to be reminded that I just wrote a whole book about what happened when I didn’t draw firm boundaries around health. It’s wild how badly I like to forget a hard earned lesson the moment that it interferes with my base desires 🤣
No more!
So this time we are sticking to the East Coast (for now.) But trust, in an alternate timeline, I’m coming through all of your towns and shaking it up at the independent bookstore, favored diner and most untapped Goodwill.
