Featuring an original score by Dan Deacon, choreography by Morgann Runacre-Temple (Summer), Penny Saunders (Fall), Jamar Roberts (Winter), and Trey McIntyre (Spring), with scenic and costume design by Emma Kingsbury and lighting design by Christopher Ash.

Today, we celebrate and honor the beautiful life of our cherished friend, Dito Van Reigersberg.
Dito’s infectious spirit, courageous curiosity, and extraordinary talent left an indelible mark on the Philadelphia arts community and on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His creativity, generosity, and joy inspired countless artists, audiences, and friends.
The world feels a little less bright today, but we take comfort in knowing that Dito’s spirit will continue to dance alongside us, in our work, our memories, and the community he helped shape.
We love you, Dito. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️
Internationally acclaimed costume and set designer Emma Kingsbury has created unforgettable worlds for some of the world’s leading ballet and opera companies. Most recently, she completed the costume designs for all four operas of Wagner’s “Der Ring des Nibelungen” at La Scala.
We’re thrilled to welcome Emma back to BalletX as the scenic and costume designer our world premiere, “The Four Seasons Reimagined”. In this glimpse behind the scenes, she shares some of the inspirations shaping the breathtaking landscape she is creating for the production. Drawing on the power, beauty, and transformation of the natural world, Emma is crafting an environment that is as dynamic as the movement it surrounds.
