I was just coming in the back door of my house and I thought of this book title, "Who Painted This Doorknob - and Other Tales of Home Renovation Gone Horribly Wrong." The irony is that even though I've stopped flipping houses, I'm renovating one in Flint, MI where the borrower abandoned it. I had to spend the entire morning putting together an overnight mailing - including getting papers NOTARIZED - to get the nectar of the Gods known as Flint water turned on.

Hey Everyone, I'm planning a roadtrip June 5-13 down to Birmingham, Jackson, Mississipi and New Orleans to look at the local real estate markets and meet potential wholesalers and realtors. Would like to have teams in Bham and Jackson to find houses, get them fixed and then sold with owner financing. New Orleans, frankly, is to sneak a visit in with my daughter. And probably chow down with fellow RE ninja, Jonathan Burden.
