It's been 11 years since Mike took his own life just days before his 43rd birthday leaving behind his daughter, his parents, his younger brother, and a bunch of friends from high school, college, his workplaces, and Dewey Beach. A gifted athlete he led Harford County in tackles our senior year playing middle linebacker and also was a team captain and fullback. He also made significant contributions to the Fallston High School basketball and baseball teams and would certainly be deserving of the school's athletic hall of fame. He went on to play football at Frostburg State University in Maryland.

I always like to follow up with a client via text or email the day after I see them to check in and see how they are feeling and give them the opportunity to ask any questions they may have as well as supply them videos and supportive information for own personalized self care corrective exercises. This is the response that I received back.

After a few weeks and a bunch of documentation I was finally able to get my Pennsylvania Athletic Training License reinstated so now I am dually licensed as an Athletic Trainer and Massage Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Looking forward to expanding my role outside of my office with the WCU Men's Rugby Team and various other per diem and short term opportunities in the area.

As a small business owner I try to add in personal touches when I can. My next client is an avid skateboarder, who was having a hard time participating in that activity when I first saw them a few years ago. One time at a Marshall's or TJ Maxx I found a set of sheets with skateboarders on them, so I put them on the table before they come in. I also found a little skateboard at Five Below, it can be used for all kinds of single leg exercises and activations.
From not knowing whether they could skate again to being featured in several professional videos and photo shoots with trips around the USA and abroad. Now they just pop in whenever something starts to bother them.
