Girish Balakrishnan But graduate student Girish Balakrishnan says there’s a way to encourage reading among young people in the digital age. In fact, he and a group of fellow Drexel students are putting that theory into practice with the recent release of a storybook app for iPad.

Over the next couple days, we are going to release some behind the scenes images from our production development of the app! The image below is some 3D storyboards we developed to aid in our story development:

As iPads begin to reinvigorate the classroom setting, the platform we have developed with Spirit of the Virginia: prologue is one that can be expanded beyond this story arc. The goal is to introduce a new generation to reading using technology.
