A morning of celebrating collaboration, growth, and apprenticeships.
The JEVS Apprenticeship team held a “Breakfast of Champions” event and award ceremony recognizing employers who’ve partnered with JEVS to jumpstart their apprenticeship programs. Awardees included representatives from Community Council Health Systems, Greene Tweed, i2m solutions, Jefferson Health, Philadelphia Works, Chubb North America more!

As the school year comes to a close, we recognize the difference our JEVS Work Ready program makes for participants and their families. At the start of the year, our team filled 102 backpacks—giving 42 families the tools and confidence to help their students succeed. Every donation, volunteer hour, and word of encouragement helps those we serve move toward greater independence.

JEVS is happy to share that Jefferson Health Community Health Worker Academy earned state approval as a Registered Apprenticeship Program. “This collaboration between JEVS and Jefferson is helping to bridge the gap between health/social services and the community,” shared Cynthia Figueroa, President and CEO, JEVS. “JEVS is proud to be the registered apprenticeship sponsor for the Community Health Worker Apprenticeship, providing services and support that lead to careers for apprentices, and a skilled workforce for employers.”
