We’re hiring and looking for volunteers!

We are hiring a part-time Cultural Health Navigator who speaks Haitian Creole to play a critical role in engaging Philadelphia’s Haitian immigrant and refugee communities in AFAHO’s health, social, and education service programs. This person will provide comprehensive case management services to support clients’ adjustment, self sufficiency, and health needs. Learn more at afaho.org/careers.

We are also looking for volunteers to support our food distribution program on Tuesdays! We are looking for support with packing food for our clients. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.

AFAHO was selected as an Indego Community Ambassador for 2026! We recently hosted a bike education class in partnership with Indego and the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, with 14 attendees. Thank you to Lor Song for leading the class, which focused on street safety, communicating with drivers, how to use Indego electric bikes, and navigating Philadelphia streets.

It was a highly interactive and engaging workshop with hands-on opportunities for the community to practice their bike riding skills!
