Ayanna Gardner - Drexel University College of Engineering “I joined the Marine Corps out of high school and served as a flight line mechanic with a CH-53E squadron. It was that job that piqued my interest in Engineering Technology. I wanted to set myself up to be able to pursue a career that was a good balance of hands-on and theoretical engineering.”

Happy 100th anniversary to Drexel's Co-Op program -- deservedly renowned for providing students with valuable real-world, hands-on job experience.
Technology has certainly gone through several major revolutions since then, but the idea of Co-Op is as relevant today as it was in the early 1900s.

Technology doesn't stand still -- so neither do we.
EET 208 (Intro to Programming for Embedded Systems) serves as an introduction to microcontrollers and C/C++ programming. This year, we switched from the Arduino Uno to NodeMCU 1.0 boards. These allow for not only larger, more complex sketches, but the inclusion of WiFi and simple dynamic web pages.
It's a fun class, and just got a lot more so.
