Hand Over Fist Signs

Meet the newest team member who has really be a member from the start. Leann Lytle has been helping me out around the shop, mostly with emails, pricing, and office-y things, but you can see by the first photo that she can hold her own with an electropounce ⚡️

Leann is the coolest and nicest, so if you see an email with her named signed, don’t be alarmed. We’re a legit Mom & Pop Shop now and I’m glad she’ll be around to keep me on track.

👼 Spent some quality time painting this logo designed by JR EVERHART this week. Down on Columbus Blvd. Keep an eye out for Caro’s cafe. That gold will catch your eye as you jog past.

Standard__Sign__Co gets the assist, handling the border stripes using my patented double sharpie line-o-matic. Straight as an arrow. Doesn’t quiver.

Jeneral Store coming soon to Narberth, PA. A custom border can always set a window apart. I love painting them and it shows a shop’s attention to detail. It also just looks great.

Wonderful working with Jen on this storefront. She is mid-renovation and moving swiftly towards an opening. Going to be a nice addition to an already adorable town.

Back at Celia Bookshop this week to paint a small dedication mural and label some doors. It was wonderful to work with them again after making shop signs for their opening last year.

A sweet message crediting family with inspiration for and facilitation of the bookshop. Though tedious to paint, the he message was worth the effort. Thanks for the opportunity to make a few more additions to the shop!

Built and painted a brand new panel sign to replace the one from the last business. Daune Marie has a new home right in Glenside and I’m so glad they asked me to make their sign. Daune Marie was so great to work with and they provided me with a nice layout from the start.

Created with high density urethane, I got to put a bit of dimension into the top panel. I would love to do more dimensional work like this, it really gave this sign some great depth.

Thanks to Standard__Sign__Co for being my extra hands on the install. Great attitude, great work ethic, and all-around great guy.

Media Mercantile is coming to Media PA with outdoor lifestyle goods.

I designed their logos and painted their storefront on the hottest day of the week 🥵. There were a few approaches, and they decided on a clean, stripped down look. I think it works well and the sandy color we landed on for the facade has a nice natural and bright feel.

Coming Soon!

Had the pleasure of getting a new sign made for a long-time client. Just got this up at on South St.

Just found this photo from 2020 that I did for someone up in Canada if my memory serves me, which it usually does not. Not in the supermarket game, but had fun doing this direct layout for a few bucks when life was on hold for most of us.

facade painted yesterday. 🥵

Such an accommodating crew working there and they gave us some amazing sandwiches for lunch.

Thanks to for getting there early with me to beat some of the heat and get his base tan for the summer.
