It has been quite a while since I have posted any images. I was fortunate enough to have been able to not only experience the solar eclipse in totality on April 8, 2024, but also photograph it. I used a 600mm telephoto lens to capture these incredible moments.

I have started new photographic exploration of the moon. As a young photographer, I was always intrigued by photographs of the moon. I quickly learned lunar photography was extremely difficult and was never able to produce a successful image.
During this unprecedented time while it is difficult to go out into the world to explore and find subjects to photograph, I have turned my focus to my backyard. I am looking at the area around me and trying to see the many things I had often overlooked as photographic subjects. I looked up and saw the beautiful, powerful, consistent and comforting moon and focused my camera.
This is pic is the beginning of my lunar photography exploration.

I embarked on a new adventure and moved to the desert. This environment inspires me to explore a type of photography that I have never worked with before. This album is the beginning of my new exploration.

CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS:
Last year my partner and I took our Circus environment to the Ohio Le***an Festival. We were drawn to this festival because it is an inclusive Womyn’s festival. We had an amazing time. This year, OLF has asked me to put together a team of photographers to capture the fun and beautiful moments at the festival.
I am recruiting 4 photographers to be on the photography crew team. This is a volunteer gig, but the festival admission will be free for the crew. All photographers will get documented photo credit in both print and social media publications for all images. If you are a photographer with your own equipment and would like to be a part of the team, please contact me at:
[email protected]
The festival will be Thursday 9/20/18 through 9/23/18. It is a womyn’s music festival with camping, workshops and vendors.
The location for this year is:
Hoover Y, 1570 Rohr Road, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137
