New group chat name unlocked: Hotties for Harm Reduction. 🔥

Today, we’re seeing harm reduction in action at International Overdose Awareness Day events across the country, and we love seeing communities show up for one another.
At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Student Wellness, HRC @ UNC, and Carolina Recovery teamed up to distribute 80 naloxone kits (160 doses!), along with DisposeRx packets, fentanyl test strips, xylazine test strips, and harm reduction education.
We’re also proud to be part of IOAD events in Harrisburg, PA, and New Jersey today, connecting people with resources, sharing lifesaving tools, and reminding everyone that overdose prevention takes all of us.

💜 Were you out in your community for IOAD today? Drop your photos in the comments so we can see how you showed up!

Because awareness matters. Access matters. And harm reduction saves lives.

On International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), we can transform grief, memory, frustration, and hope into action. 💜

This day holds a complex set of emotions; it reminds us of the weight of grief that so many live with in the wake of millions of overdoses, as well as the individual losses that have impacted each of us directly.

Help spread the facts, not judgment.
