Same Whisper, different look!
We’re slowly rolling out a new version of our popular Whisper device. There’s no change in how you use it—but we’ve made a few improvements! The relay now supports up to 5A of current, and we’ve added a resettable fuse to protect the RFID inputs.
New to Whisper?
Whisper was originally created to replace individual RFID units with relays that were noisy, a pain to wire, and easy for guests to brute force. Now, it’s evolved into a versatile controller that works with a wide range of sensors.
Whisper listens for signals from up to ten devices—like RFID readers, reed switches, buttons, or other gadgets. When all (or a chosen number) are activated, it can send a signal to trigger something else—like releasing a maglock, turning on a light, or activating a controller like a BooBox.
We offer Whisper versions for both 12V and 5V devices, so it’s ready for whatever your project needs.

While everyone was in peak Halloween season. The Knabe Labs crew was tasked with building THE hot chocolate stand and Christmas village for “Holly and the Hot Chocolate” with the awesome crew at Neighborhood Film Co.

From design to installation. Knabe 🎃 Labs made this incredible 14' photo op for Eastern State Penitentiary Halloween Nights at ESP. Pictured is our designer Jaina who modeled & designed the entire experience. Over a dozen people were involved in foam sculpting, carving, electrical, fabrication and so much more! 🎃 Happy Halloween! 💀
