Our #1 tip for securing a Wordpress website is to generate a static website using something like Gatsby. This significantly reduces the amount of ways to be "hacked" and has an added bonus: speed. With everything already loaded, there is no server side functions needed, so everything is running client side, resulting in way faster speeds.

Which ecommerce platform do you like the most?

The pros and cons are different for each platform. But there is one for sure winner: Shopify. It isn't a one size fits all situation though. Depending on needs and budget, an option like Squarespace could be just as good.

We recommend based on amount of products. If you have a ton of products, Shopify is a no brainer. It makes a lot of things easier and has the ability to scale your tools with your growth to keep things moving smoothly.

If you have only a few products and a small budget, we recommend starting with Squarespace.

Often times, we find DIY websites with huge amounts of text. This is a huge mistake!

It might make sense to put as much information as possible. But it’s overwhelming and could be why your losing clients!

Keep things concise and to the point. If you can’t get all the right info across - don’t worry! Split it up across other pages, or include it in your onboarding phone call, or a new client information packet.
