Our new blog breaks down a federal lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California after a predator allegedly groomed a 15-year-old girl on Roblox and moved the communication to Discord. He then paid an Uber driver $1,000 to transport her across state lines to New Jersey, where she was allegedly held in a locked room and repeatedly assaulted.

The complaint says the predator was a prominent Roblox developer whose behavior had been publicly discussed for months, raising urgent questions about what platforms knew and how quickly they acted.
