We’re excited to welcome Navon Smith to Rodriguez Consulting as Engineering Tech II. In this role, Navon will oversee our new team of Engineering Aide Trainees helping guide, mentor, and develop future talent while supporting critical projects tied to Philadelphia’s infrastructure and public health. As a Rodriguez University graduate, Navon brings the perspective and vision needed to ensure this program creates lasting impact for both our trainees and the communities we serve. Rodriguez Consulting was proud to attend the 2025 Pennsylvania Water Environment Association (PWEA) PennTec Conference, where team members Nevada and Lairon explored the latest in storm and sanitary sewer design, construction methods, and emerging technologies. To extend the impact, Nevada and Lairon hosted a recap session with the team—connecting the dots between industry trends and our project work.

From expert-led case studies to industry exhibitions, this experience deepened our team's knowledge and connections—helping us better serve the communities we support through resilient, forward-thinking water infrastructure.

We are excited to celebrate 10 years of leadership, growth, and dedication from our Chief Operating Officer Dave Spellman, PLS. Dave joined Rodriguez Consulting as a project manager in 2015, bringing with him deep expertise in land surveying, project delivery, and team development. Over the past decade, he’s helped shape the systems, standards, and structure that keep our work moving forward—and our teams aligned. Now as COO, Dave oversees our operations with the same hands-on mindset he started with. His leadership reflects the best of what we believe in at Rodriguez: purpose, precision, and people first.
