Originally filmed on June 12, 2025, at Harlem's iconic Apollo Theater, the project made its red carpet debut in New York City before its theatrical release in select cities.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at Divine Direction, GK.video's seventh feature film collaboration with Director and Producer Joshua Coates.

Kevin Hackenberg served as Steadicam Operator and 2nd Unit Director of Photography, helping capture the visual storytelling behind this inspiring film based on the true story of renowned pastor and bassist Charles Moorer and his journey of faith, fatherhood, and perseverance through life's challenges.

In addition to crew support, GK.video provided two matching Sony Cinema Camera packages, along with the lighting and grip equipment that helped bring each scene to life.

🎥 What's your favorite part of seeing how a film comes together behind the scenes?

Kevin Hackenberg and the GK team had the privilege of attending the inaugural Hard Faith Film Festival: In the Bleak Midwinter at the Producers Club in Manhattan.

The one-day event brought together faithful creatives to celebrate storytelling, filmmaking, and community. One of the highlights was Kevin being selected to pitch upcoming FunnyAndAmen content to the judges and audience.

Looking back on moments like these reminds us how powerful it is to share ideas, connect with fellow creators, and keep telling meaningful stories.
