It all started with one simple idea: what if George Washington photobombed the event?

While working with the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), we took inspiration from the iconic portraits and turned it into a playful comic—“Presidential Plus-One.” A fun, unexpected take where history meets imagination.

At Get Kinetic, we love mixing storytelling with creativity (and a little humor). Sometimes the most memorable ideas are the ones that just make people smile.

This film was produced by Get Kinetic, with Kevin Hackenberg as cinematographer. GK also supplied all camera and lighting, with coordination by Ornella—bringing the full production together for the big screen.

Created for a limited audience ⚖️—including the family’s legal team, insurance representatives, and the presiding judge—this film plays a meaningful role as a long-awaited settlement is reached years after the accident.

Kevin Hackenberg and GK are honored to help tell stories that go beyond the screen ❤️—stories that truly make a difference.

Godfrey and The Audacity—along with the producers and crew of his new special, Rebel with a Cause—celebrated its release at a red carpet premiere in NYC 🎬✨

The special was filmed on June 12, 2025, at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theatre, with the premiere held on January 13, 2026 in New York City.
Release: January 14, 2026 — domestic theatrical release in select cities.
