Named for the kiwi — the flightless bird, the fuzzy green fruit, and the nickname of a New Zealander.

A tropical-leaning cocktail with the structure of a classic margarita, Flightless Bird blends Bluecoat American Dry Gin and The Bay Vodka with house orange liqueur, kiwi, mango, and fresh lime, finished with a Tajín salt rim.

Citrus-driven and layered with subtle spice and salinity, it’s equal parts refreshing and complex — built for slow sips and summer nights.

Strawberry Punch (serves 20):
1 bottle
1.5 cups simple syrup
1.5 cups lemon juice
0.75 cup dry vermouth
1 lb chopped strawberries
1L club soda (to finish)

Combine everything except the soda in a punch bowl or pour it back into the Bluecoat bottle. When you’re ready to serve, pour over ice, top with club soda, and finish with a fresh strawberry.
