Due to a generous partnership with Inspectify, RiseUp Fund is now offering free home inspections to qualified, low-moderate-income families in the Philadelphia region! This is yet another way we are helping to reduce the racial homeownership gap--by providing value-add services that lessen the immediate financial burden for first-time, low-income families. Part of what makes the holidays so special is having a home in which to celebrate them. Unfortunately, there are still many barriers to homeownership for underserved communities. This is why the RiseUp Fund was started.
Since our inception in 2021, we have:
* Contributed over $200,000 in grants and services to underserved communities
* Educated over 400 low-to-moderate-income families
* Amassed over 1,100 volunteer hours
This holiday season, we're doubling down on our commitment to ensure that more people can truly be "home for the holidays." There will always be those who can benefit from the compassion and assistance of their community. Will you help us ensure more families have a place where they can build their dreams, celebrate traditions, and create lasting memories? Thank you for your support by donating during this Giving Tuesday at

Even amid turmoil in the world—both near and far—there is much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Here is just a small list of what—and who—we are grateful for:
· The 400+ families who have gone through one or more of our programs which focus on financial literacy and homeownership.
· The dozens of volunteers who give of their time to mentor and guide our clients through their first year of homeownership.
· The United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey who partners with us to offer a double-matched savings program which accelerates savings toward homeownership.
· Inspectify, a new partner that allows us to offer free home inspections for qualified, low-income homebuyers. Applications can be found on our website at www.riseupfund.org/inspectify.
· Our esteemed Board of Directors—past and present—who guide our strategy to assist as many low-income families into greater generational wealth creation. Thank you Mike Maher, David Robinson Jr., Brian Murray, Jay Minkoff, Ben Pitts, Keith Leaphart, Noelle St.Clair Lentz, Soneyet Muhammad
· Donors like Houwzer, ESSA Bank & Trust, William Penn Bank, University Place Associates, Woodforest National Bank, Brandywine Realty Trust, who permit us to continue our work.
Whether you are gathering in your newly purchased home, in your current rented abode, or visiting someone else’s home, RiseUp wishes you a Thanksgiving filled love and hope.
