We are thrilled to announce that our annual State of Young Philadelphia convening will be held this year at the inPhiladelphia on October 18th from 3:30-7PM.

This year is special! Marking 25 years of YIP’s existence amplifying young voices and helping shape our city’s civic, and social future.

YIP is proud to feature State Representative, as our keynote speaker for this event.

This year’s convening will highlight the perspectives of Philadelphians, explore pressing civic issues, and celebrate the progress and future of our city.

Last month we hosted our first Get Involved Happy Hour of 2025! We raised $480 for Broad Street Love, had delicious food provided by Top Tomato Bar & Pizza, and a fun night out with 36 young Philadelphians.

Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting Broad Street Love. You can continue to support Broad Street Love's work to provide stabilizing services for individuals experiencing deep poverty by going to broadstreetlove.org.

Join us for a delicious evening of hands-on cooking and community! Asian Food Collective invites you to a dumpling-making class at Old Pine Community Center— an opportunity to learn the art of folding, filling, and feasting alongside new friends.

All proceeds support Asian Food Collective’s mission to build Asian and Asian American community through shared meals, as well as Old Pine Community Center, our generous host!
