Today during our afternoon read-aloud, we read The Boy Who Never Gave Up, a children’s book about Stephen Curry. 🏀

In the story, we learned how he always dreamed of playing in the , but many people told him he wasn’t tall enough, strong enough, or good enough. As we can see today, that wasn’t true! With hard work, practice, and someone who believed in him, he kept going and eventually achieved his dream.

At home, take a moment to talk with your child about today’s story. Encourage them to share their thoughts and make connections to their own experiences. This is a great opportunity to reinforce conversations about not giving up on what they love, believing in themselves, and pushing through challenges, even when others or situations make them feel unsure.
