NET Centers

Throughout the month of August, Probation & Parole is hosting events in Sussex County to support the reentry success of every individual under probation supervision. Each event will be held at the Georgetown Probation & Parole Office (22855 DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947):

- August 3, 17, 31 from 9 – 11:30 am: Anthony Stanziale from the Delaware Center for Justice, Inc. hosts employment labs (resume writing, interview prep, job searching). Walk-ins welcome.
- Every Tuesday and Thursday and every other Wednesday: Emma Smith from the Delaware Center for Justice meets one-on-one to connect probationers with case management services. Call 302-752-3553 to schedule your appointment.
- Every Wednesday from 9 – 11 am: Jeffery Curtis from Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) provides assistance with transportation and housing, social service referrals, and benefits. Walk-ins welcome.
- Every Tuesday from 10:30 am – 12 noon: Stanley Powell from First State Community Action Agency provides assistance and referral support, including help with bills and fines, transportation assistance, food help, and housing. Walk-ins welcome.
- August 24: 9 – 11 am: Recovery RI will discuss their treatment and restart reentry programs. Walk-ins welcome.
- August 24: 1 – 3 pm: Impact Life will be conducting walk-in service and training in the lobby. Walk-ins welcome.
- August 28: 3 – 5 pm: Impact Life will host a reentry workshop. No RSVP necessary.
- August 16 and 30: 1 – 3 pm: Delaware Department of Labor will provide information about the expungement and pardon process and enroll individuals in a job training program.
- Every Wednesday from 9 am – 3 pm: NET Centers Mobile Addiction Recovery RV will provide assessments, referrals, medications, and treatment assistance.
