Radiation therapy is currently the standard treatment for DIPG and DMG. Using targeted energy beams, it can help shrink the tumor and relieve symptoms by reducing pressure in the brain. While it is not a cure, radiation can slow tumor growth and give patients and families valuable time and improved quality of life during an incredibly difficult journey.

Globally, over 300,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year.

Around 200–300 of those children are diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (D.I.P.G.), a rare and devastating pediatric brain cancer. For most families, the prognosis is heartbreaking: fewer than 10% of children survive beyond two years, and only a small fraction reach five.
