πΊπΈ What might America look like 250 years from now?πΊπΈ
As the United States celebrates 250 years of democracy, artist Morgan Overton asks us to look forward instead of back.
Through graphite, watercolor, archival collage, and mixed media, America: 500 imagines futures shaped by Black self-determination, ancestral memory, and collective possibility. Her work explores the space between Americaβs promises and realities while asking what comes nextβand who gets to shape it.
This isnβt a history lesson.
Itβs an invitation to imagine the future.
Join us for the opening reception of this powerful solo exhibition by an artist whose work has been exhibited at the United States Capitol Building, the London Art Biennale, and beyond.
