🚨 FOUND ABANDONED: NEWBORN BABY BOY 🚨

A newborn baby boy was found abandoned in a car seat Sunday evening in the parking lot of Cahokia Mounds in Collinsville, Illinois.

According to the Collinsville Police Department, a 911 caller reported finding the infant at approximately 8:35 p.m. on June 7, 2026. When officers arrived, they found the baby asleep in a car seat. Thankfully, he appeared to be in good health and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Investigators believe the child is a Hispanic male who is between one week and less than one month old. He was wearing an orange-and-white striped onesie and a small hat and was secured in a green-and-black Evenflo infant car seat.

Police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the baby and locating the person responsible for abandoning him.

Witnesses reported seeing a Hispanic man driving a small, older-model dark blue vehicle in the parking lot between approximately 7:40 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., about an hour before the baby was discovered. The vehicle was described as extremely loud, with witnesses stating it sounded “like it was going to blow up.” The car was last seen traveling westbound on Collinsville Road after leaving the area.

Investigators are asking anyone who may recognize the baby’s clothing, the car seat, the vehicle, or who knows of a woman who was recently pregnant and may no longer have her baby to come forward. They are also seeking any surveillance footage from the area that may help identify the individuals involved.

This little boy was left alone with no way to tell anyone who he is or where he came from. Tonight, he is safe, but investigators are working to uncover his identity and understand the circumstances that led to him being abandoned.

💔 HARMONY MONTGOMERY UPDATE

Today, the New Hampshire Supreme Court overturned Adam Montgomery’s second-degree murder conviction in the death of 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery and ordered further proceedings on that charge.

The court did not find that Harmony’s death did not occur, nor did it find Adam Montgomery innocent. His convictions for second-degree assault, witness tampering, falsifying physical evidence, and abuse of a co**se remain in place, and he remains incarcerated.
