Dedicated to the mental health & wellness of our local & artistic community, we donate to new organizations every issue.✨

And that's exactly what we've been doing. 😌 March-June was a big push for the team to get our magazine published and our 2nd launch event organized. We thank all of you for your support and patience as we wrap up the last of our summer break! Because we can't promote mental health and wellness if we're not listening to our own advice, right? That being said, we're all still here if you need us in the meantime! 🌜✨

It is with complete and utter gratitude that we are able to announce that we now have scholarships to offer for all of our workshops!

In an effort to continue with our mission to provide a space of healing through art for those in need, we are accepting applications from those struggling with mental health and financial hardships.

Although the scholarships are open for all - we will be prioritizing BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and single moms/single dads.

Link is in bio for the applications! Apply by 4/29 to join some of our May workshops! ✨✨✨

It is because of our awesome community we are able to offer this so thank you 🙏🙏🙏

RECOMPOSURE: WRITING TO RECOVERY

Learn how to shape your story. A workshop to help empower writers at any stage of the process.

A former English teacher, EVAN BROOKE’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, The Northwest Review, The Baltimore Review, The Chicago Quarterly Review, and elsewhere.

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:

STORIES ARE OUR SALVATION.

Reading stories can offer an escape from our present. Writing stories can help us process our past. In the end, the writing process and the healing process are incredibly similar: endlessly creating, endlessly revising, from our work to ourselves.

Why not use your past to pave your way to a new future?

TIME & PLACE:

Online--TBA (2 hours long, weekly)

Takes place in May of 2022. It will be once a week for six weeks. We will send a poll out to workshop participants in April for specific weekdays and times.

Go to our LINKTREE to find more information regarding this workshop & to register.

WRITING FOR RESILIENCE: A FOCUS ON FEELING

Feel it to heal it. A workshop by and for writers reclaiming their narrative.

GABRIELLE KAPLAN-MAYER is an author, educator, and writing teacher based in Philadelphia. Through her new venture 'Feed Your Spirit Writing,' she is now teaching online workshops focusing on writing for spiritual growth.
______________________________

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:

'GOOD WRITING COMES FROM WITHIN.'

Our thoughts and feelings make us who we are. With writing as one of the most powerful tools of self-expression, our voice is just as unique as our experiences.

Why not take the time to tend to these thoughts and, through them, ourselves?

TIME & PLACE:

Online -- 1st Monday of April, May, and June. The dates are as follows:

April 4th | May 2nd | June 6th @ 7:30p - 8:30p EST

Go to our LINKTREE to find more information regarding this workshop & to register.
