ESPN reporter and advocate Lauren Sisler joined Camp Mariposa Sarasota for a full day last Saturday - not as a guest on the sidelines, but a participant in the full camp experience. She shared her own story of being impacted by addiction and grief and joined campers as they shared their stories and found joy and connection in the camp community.

🦋 ICYMI: Camp Erin West Virginia applications have been extended!

We know summer schedules get busy, so we've extended the camper application deadline to August 14.

Camp Erin West Virginia is a free weekend grief camp for children and teens ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of someone important in their lives. Through fun activities, peer support, and caring mentors, campers discover they're not alone in their grief.

If you know a child or teen who could benefit from this experience, please help us spread the word by sharing this post with family, friends, schools, churches, and community organizations.

One of the most important parts of our grief camp, Camp Erin, is the Memory Board.

This moment is a special time for campers to honor and remember their person who has died, alongside their peers and camp volunteers. Usually held on the first night of camp, the experience is powerful and bonding, allowing campers to share memories of their person (if they choose), and see a visual representation of how they are not alone.
