Reality: As thanksgiving is upon us. Shippers and receivers shut down. Brokers have turned their phones off. Everyday America as we know it is at home eating turkey and enjoying the fellowship.

But there is a group of men and women that do not get the same privilege. Yes there are some that have volunteered to stay out and keep the supply chain going but In reality most trucking companies could never send the truckers they have, home, they would lose their customers and truckers understand.

Many drivers are under a load right now, that is obligated to a destination. Many drivers wanted to be home but were told that is not happening. Many truckers understand this nasty reality of the industry and they press on.

They are not asking for a pat on the back. They are not asking for sympathy. You can find these drivers eating alone. Sad, some, lonely, some but they knew what they were getting into when they took on this career. Don't pity us but pray. Pray we are safe, pray we see our families again and pray that our belly's and hearts are filled during this holiday.

Suggestion: If you see a trucker sitting and eating alone this hoday and you can afford it, pay their bill, if it compells you. You will make that truckers day and in a wonderful way. If you cant afford it, we pray for blessings upon you instead.
