We're so thrilled to bring this important event to our neighborhood families along with our event partners Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services and Penn Medicine. We are so happy to announce our first ever Farmers' Market, kicking off this July! One of the cornerstones of our work is creating this market as a way to encourage our community towards agricultural sustainability, feeding themselves literally and figuratively through the cultivation of produce and the community vibes of the market.

As a nonprofit organization, we value our community partners. Last fall, Aunja established a connection with Wolf Performing Arts Center, a nonprofit theatre arts education program located in Bryn Mawr, PA. Together, we worked on packaging free lunches to serve to the Frankford community in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2023. It's so exciting to harness our varied gifts to help make our community a better place!

PAR's efforts are based out of the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia. This January, we organized a day of service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.

Collaborating with Villanova University and Wolf Performing Arts Center, we worked with Pastor Siretta Humphrey of the Word of Faith Church in Frankford on a variety of projects, including passing out free prepared lunches to community members and cleaning out the church's annex. Keep an eye out for more information on the renovation efforts!

Our incredible founder Aunja Richards (pictured left) has been working tirelessly to build connections and create spaces to allow the community to grow. Future PAR efforts include programming for young people through classes, workshops, and summer camp!

Project Always Receiving is a non-profit organization engaged in agricultural sustainability and community improvement, based in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia. Our founder, Aunja Richards, has been hard at work laying the groundwork for exciting projects to invigorate the community, including a farmers' market, summer camp, and other public events.
