Happy Belated Birthday to my first baby & best friend!! Drake turned 5 back on the fifth!! There are no words to describe my love for you Drakey 🤍

There is truly never a dull moment with Drake around. He’s either clamming up a storm in the backyard & putting a show on for the boats going by, teaching himself a new skill on the ice that never fails to impress us, and the best of all… becoming the best big brother I could of hoped for!

I know we share a lot of the funny moments on here, but on a daily basis Drake is always looking after all of us. He helped me get through my first pregnancy. He waits for his dad by the door after every hockey game or every game day nap & shares a pregame meal with him. And he refuses to eat his meals without giving us both a hug and a kiss (no really- it’s the sweetest thing ever!!) He also never leaves the baby alone- he’s always laying right by his side. I love you more than anything Drakey 🩵🩵 Happy Birthday Buddy 🐶

Choosing 20 photos to share is incredibly hard… fun fact I have over 90 thousand photos on my phone because I’ve never deleted any photos or videos since I got Drake 😂

Is it just me or do days like this make you feel like a kid again!? brings back so many memories!

Brody 🤍 we love you so much. 11 years old but you still looked like a puppy to us.

I hope you get all of the socks in the world up there, get to sleep in the bed every night and lounge on your own chair everyday, swim as much as you want, and eat lots of ice cream. We miss you so much 🌈

Brody started limping right before my parents came to visit- we thought he was just extra sore from playing- so we got him into see a vet when they got here. Unfortunately we got the worst news possible, he had bone cancer. He hid the pain he was in- he walked around on a broken leg with a smile. He was the best. He showed no signs of anything until he limped- it was a shock to all of us & we’re heartbroken💔

so some days Drake is sweet, loving, and wants to be close to his brother… yet other days he will run the opposite direction if he comes near him. this was the first time Drake let me put the baby next to him and it was also the last time 🙈😂

the attitude has been off the charts lately 🙄 he’s still adjusting to sharing the spotlight with baby Ivan 😂
