CLEAN 2000 S WATTS 08/14/2021

After the optimistic enthusiasm of CM Squilla's, Commissioner Warren's, and L&’sI visit to 2000 S Watts, progress and communication have stopped. Snipes removed their dumpsters and Verizon cleaned up power lines. But the other businesses feel emboldened because city leadership approached them and have done nothing since. We, unfortunately, have to keep updating our site with the latest information since this is still ongoing:

Rite Aid leaves its trash out all week. It encourages people to pick through it and leave their own trash. Plus, the neighbors have to look at it and it blocks the sidewalk along with their illegal enclosure. A day after neighbors cleaned up the block watch Waste Management drag boxes down the street, leaving a stream of debris.
