This beauty is up next on our reading list—think The Chronicles of Narnia, but for adults 🤓

Next up on our roster!

Agatha has lived every day of the last seven years with her sisters: they work together, laugh together, pray together. Their world is contained within the little house they share. The four of them are devoted to Mother Roberta and to their quiet, purposeful life. But when the parish goes broke, the sisters are forced to move and Agatha is forced to venture out into the world alone.

Who will she be if she isn’t with her sisters? These women, the church, have been her home? Or has she just been hiding?

Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Claude is 5 years old, the youngest of 5 brothers, and dreams of being a girl when he grows up.

When we tell you this book is so beautifully written that it smacks you in the gut while simultaneously giving you hope—-believe us!

You know we’re stingy with 5 stars, but this one deserves it.

The reason why writers write and why us readers read is to feel a connection, to better understand another person’s truth & to fall in love with the power of words again & again. This Is How It Always Is delivers all this and more. We sprung for the audiobook version, which was expertly narrated.

Are you adding this one to your TBR?
