Thanks to the generous friend(s) who chose to raise funds for Simplified Period for their birthday this year. Facebook just sent us two checks totaling $1600+ 🥰

For about 10 years, they may never need to stress about finding funds to purchase disposable tampons and pads EVERY MONTH ...saving them easily $20-$40 a month. PLUS... they won’t be contributing to landfill waste and pollution, therefore reducing their carbon footprint.

Menstrual cups free womxn and girls from period poverty! They no longer have to skip school, work, and extracurriculars during their periods because they have a durable and reusable menstrual product to help them confidently get through their days.

Menstrual cups BREAK BARRIERS in the fight against ! Menstrual cups are reusable, sustainable, and eco-friendly menstrual products, allowing us to reach MORE womxn because we are distributing FEWER products.

Why is this white man relevant to Black history? He was one of the Freedom Riders. In 1960, he was on a bus full of Freedom Riders who arrived in Montgomery Alabama where an angry white mob was waiting for them. He volunteered to get off the bus first and take the brunt of the mob's violence, which left him beaten and bloody. His name was James Zwerg.
