The Modest Boheme

Fact: over 90% of our apartment (as a whole) is secondhand. From our dining room table and chairs, to our bed frame, dresser, my work desk and even our sofa. I will always pick secondhand/vintage home good items over new any day. Not just because they’re cheap (even though that’s a huge reason), but because you’re cutting down on waste and taking another mans “trash” and giving it a new life.

This place is J and I’s go-to spot on my days off. A good cup of coffee AND a plant shop? I’m sold. Not only that though, they have a compost station at the café and wrap your plants up in old newspapers. Heart eyes for days.

You’ll save yourself the to-go cup and you’ll actually get to enjoy your coffee instead of drinking it on the go. Indulge, take a breath, treat yourself.
