This Sunday, April 26th, join us for the inaugural I ❤️ CHOP Run, Walk, and Virtual Challenge!

We want to thank you again for helping us fundraise for Rare Disease Research during Rep For Rare. Rare disease research is a cause that is close to our hearts, and we appreciate every single person who was able to help make that day the success that it is

Our final total was $14,623! 🙌

We will have a booth there representing all things Control Lab!

Tickets are $25, and registration closes 12 pm on Thursday.

Event Details:

7am - Registration Opens 

8:30am - 5k begins followed by the 3k family fun walk

We heard you loud and clear, and starting next week, April 6th, we’re adding 4 new Small Group Training sessions to the schedule:

Monday @ 6:30 AM with .boomin 
Tuesday @ 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM with 
Thursday @ 6:00 PM with .boomin

Also, all evening classes will now start at 6:00 PM (previously 6:30 PM) beginning April 6th.

Our Small Group Personal Training sessions are intimate, high-quality training experiences that allow us to truly coach, connect, and push you — and we’re excited to open up more spots for our community.

Training smarter as you age isn’t about doing less — it’s about doing the right things consistently so you maintain or improve your quality of life for years to come.

Start by prioritizing strength training. Maintaining muscle is one of the most important things you can do to stay strong, mobile, and resilient as you get older. It’s why Control Lab exists. We understand the importance of strength training.

Next, warm up with intention. A few minutes of mobility and activation can go a long way in improving movement quality and reducing injury risk.

You can still train hard, but recovery matters more. Whether it’s making sure you get enough sleep, get massages, do yoga, or hot or cold therapy, it all helps your body repair, recharge, and show up stronger for the next session.

Don’t neglect your aerobic base. Walking, cycling, rowing, or light jogging a few times per week improves heart health, recovery, and overall endurance.

Finally, remember that consistency beats intensity. Focus on quality sessions rather than trying to do everything at maximum intensity. The goal isn’t just to train hard today — it’s to build habits that allow you to keep training strong for decades.

Take control of the basics, stay consistent, and your body will thank you later.

Another 6 week Control Lab Kids Program is back!!

We’re excited to officially kick off our 2nd cohort of Control Lab Kids — starting this thursday, March 12th! 🎉

This program is designed to help kids build strength, coordination, confidence, and a positive relationship with movement in a fun, supportive environment. Our sessions focus on foundational movement skills, teamwork, and safe strength training—all while keeping things engaging and age-appropriate.

We’ll have two options during the week:
Thursday at 3:30 pm with Carly Rubenstein
Fridays at 4:30 pm with Luis Hernandez

You can purchase 1x a week for $180 or 2x a week for $330
