About Duo Obsidian

In 2019, Pablo and Eva began collaborating as a professional circus duo at Circus Warehouse in LIC, New York. Their main focus has been Duo Trapeze, Duo Straps, Duo Lyra, Duo Silks, and partner dance.

Pablo, coming from Mexico City, Mexico has an extensive background in circus and dance. Beginning 9 years ago, Pablo focused primarily on Aerial Silks, Duo Trapeze, Aerial Straps and Chinese Pole, while also cultivating his dance skills in styles such as; ballet, ballroom, contemporary, and jazz. Pablo received his Diploma of Circus Arts in 2017 from Cirko de Mente, was a professional student in Circus Warehouse’s Intensive Pro Program, and is currently completing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Eva spent equal parts of her adolescences growing up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey before officially moving to New York City in 2016. Her background in movement and arts started in 2006 at the Arden Theatre Co. where she trained in physical theater for almost a decade. Her background in circus began in 2009 in Philadelphia, where she primarily trained Aerial Silks, Duo and Solo Trapeze, Flying Trapeze, Aerial Rope, Lyra, Aerial Straps, Hand Balancing, and Contortion. In 2014, she spent some time at NECCA to further her education in Aerial Rope and Contortion. In 2016, she officially started training in Circus Warehouse's Intensive Pro Program with a major focus on Contortion, Hand Balancing, and Duo Trapeze, and a minor focus on Flying Trapeze and Dance. Eva has also been involved with movement, art and circus outreach programs, and developing children circus curriculum since 2012. Eva is currently juggling working as a freelance artist, and doing administration for Circus Warehouse.
