Making history! First AANO re-activated Philadelphia Chapter Event! 🇦🇱💪🏻

When the AANO Philadelphia Chapter and New York Albanian American National Organization of the Albanian American National Organization - AANO unite for Etnografia, culture becomes power — and the support of a respected philanthropist such as Foti Kokeri makes the night even more meaningful.

As the President of the Albanian American National Organization (AANO) Philadelphia Chapter, I am truly honored to meet a Philadelphia State Trooper and the President of the Albanian-American Law Enforcement Association.
Coming from a long line of “blue blood,” I carry with me a deep respect and pride for law enforcement service. I am especially proud to stand in this field myself, having dedicated the past 16 years of my career in law enforcement here in the diaspora. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to continue this legacy of service, integrity, and protection within our community.

On Mother’s Day, the AANO Philadelphia Chapter and the Albanian American Women’s Organization Motrat Qiriazi come together in a powerful embrace of sisterhood and purpose, standing united to uplift and support “Etnografia” as a living celebration of heritage, motherhood, and the strength of Albanian women across generations.

The AANO Philadelphia Chapter proudly met Ervin Bushati, where two leadership forces aligned—community leadership rooted in heritage and service, and diplomatic leadership shaping international vision. Together, they reflect unity, pride, and a shared commitment to elevating the Albanian voice with purpose and impact.

At Etnografia, meeting Fadil Berisha, the best fashion photographer in Albania felt like stepping into the lens of true high fashion—where culture meets couture and every frame tells a story. His eye for light, detail, and elegance reflects the kind of photography that doesn’t just capture beauty, but defines it.

When the President and her Vice President step out with their first men, it’s more than an appearance — it’s power beside power, loyalty beside leadership, and a force that commands the room without saying a word.

We welcome Florda Priftanji to our Board of Trustees. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to our community make her a wonderful addition to our leadership team.
