“Executioners,” the flyer featured a Grim Reaper with a scythe, and the skills checklist looked one cartwheel away from summoning the dark lord. This image is going to haunt my dreams. I’m gonna need a nightlight and Gilmore Girls playing on a loop just to recover.

Why do they all sound like they have a warrant out???

After 21 years in the classroom, I stepped away from teaching 3 months ago… but I never stepped away from educators. ❤️

Now I travel the country sharing my story of teacher burnout, classroom chaos, resilience, and the power of laughter through it all. My message is simple:

“Here’s why I left… and why I hope you don’t.”

Teachers deserve more than one appreciation week post and a jeans pass. You deserve support, laughter, community, and reminders that you matter beyond test scores and data meetings.

Through comedy, storytelling, and real talk from someone who lived it for over two decades, I’m helping schools and conferences laugh through the curveballs while reconnecting with why they started in the first place.

To every educator still showing up every day: thank you. I see you. ❤️
