Pain has a way of teaching us how to survive. We build walls. We become guarded. We stop trusting. We call it wisdom, maturity, or independence.
But what if some of what we call personality is actually a wound that never healed?

Pain changes people.
Not only emotionally.
Spiritually.
And many people no longer recognize:
how suffering reshaped them,
how survival hardened them,
or how fear rewired the way they live.
In Genesis 32, Jacob wrestles with God — but he is also wrestling the identity survival created inside him.
