It tastes as good as it looks! I don’t have a name for it, but it’s basically crinkled up phyllo with butter, custard, and syrup! Leave me a comment with what you think I should name it!

Base: phyllo, 2 sticks of salted butter

Custard: 2 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup whole milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Finish: simple syrup and chopped pistachio

Who said Chick-fil-A was closed on Sundays?? Decided to make my own!

Brine: chicken thighs, kefir, pickle juice, paprika, and cayenne

Breading: secret mix (send me a message for ingredients)

Sandwich: Martin’s Potato Rolls, bread and butter pickles, my sriracha honey Buffalo sauce, and of course the fried chicken

So I’ve been on a little hiatus (still getting the hang of this parenting thing 👨‍👩‍👦) but I’ve still been testing new recipes for the next season of episodes. Here we have probably my new favorite or which is a super easy pita recipe from that literally takes minutes to prepare!

I know, I know… Two coffee posts in a row. But this time my is accompanied by my sweet (recipe coming in Season 2).

This and cake is a sweet and syrupy treat that goes perfectly with any morning coffee.
