Look who's got a new out! A New Paige by is out now on Audible. It's Book 2 of Zara's outstanding MC romance series, Stained Souls -- it's a duet recording and extra delicious. Congratulations!

In the acknowledgments, the entire editorial team is usually thanked as a whole (which is totally fine!), but it is pretty sweet to be acknowledged by name. I've had editing and copyediting credits before, but not for proofreading. This book, Ethera Grave by Essa Hansen, is the first traditionally published book I've proofread that tries to name everyone in the production team, from the editors to the proofreaders. When I learned that Hansen, aside from being a novelist, swordswoman, and falconer (how interesting is she?!), was also a sound engineer for some of the biggest sci-fi movies, it became clear why she wrote her acknowledgments the way she did. Very cool and classy.

For my fantasy-loving friends -- Owen Parker's debut novel is out! It's action-packed and full of twisty turns and characters you'd love to follow -- definitely entertaining. It was such a pleasure and an early copy. Available at Amazon: https://a.co/d/1S3ug2e

Eeee! It came!!! Warning -- rambling post ahead! As some of you might know, I am a huge fan -- like, HUGE! And has me hooked big time! I watched the whole series in ONE NIGHT, which means I didn't sleep a wink -- definitely a hazard. Then it had me rewatching my favorite clips and finding out more about the real Charlotte and George and listening If I Ain't Got You and Nobody Gets Me all week long -- massive hangover, guys. And now I have the companion book and can't wait to sample this version -- I am clearly obsessed, help! šŸ˜†

Hey friends! I've been doing some work for and they've made their upcoming release -- Is the Algorithm Plotting Against Us? -- available for review!

Head on over to https://www.workingfires.org/reviewer-portal for your free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Is the Algorithm Plotting Against Us? by Kenneth Wenger, an AI expert and computer scientist, is a layperson's guide to understanding artificial intelligence—its potential, limitations, and societal impact. And with technology advancing rapidly, it's becoming more important than ever for people to be informed about AI and its implications.

But what's further intrigued me about this book is the author's motivation in writing it:

"The reason I wrote the book, is that I wanted to make AI—along with the beauty and elegance in the math and ideas that make it all possible—accessible to everyone.

You can walk into an art gallery and enjoy a painting, be moved by it, without being an artist or really understanding the intricacies of the brush strokes. There is a lot of beauty and elegance in science, but it's often locked away, and accessible only to those studying it. My hope is to unlock the interesting bits of AI and neural networks for all to appreciate."

Hey y'all!

I am excited to announce that my essay was selected for inclusion in the soon-to-be-released Boy Moms: Collective Tales of Mothers and Sons!

Kara Forney, founder of The Bump and a mom of two boys, wanted to shed light on the modern-day Boy Mom experience. The result: a collection of essays written by moms that explores the truth of raising sons today---sons who may challenge preconceived notions. Who teach you about love in a way you didn’t anticipate, and who unexpectedly change the way you see yourself.

The book is slated for a Mother’s Day launch, and you can go to https://boymoms.org to be notified when it becomes available!
