Evolve into the person you want to be not the person they expect you to be. Work for what you believe in, and it will happen. I feel so full when I sit at my sewing machine for hours creating garments for I am so grateful for for asking me to join her team giving me purpose though this uncertain time. In March I lost my last semester at I felt like the world was ending. May rolled around; I found a new hope some how graduating, and working in fashion industry. So many people tried to change my mind tell me I’ll never be able to make a living sewing but this job gives me hope. 💕🦋

I hated going to drawing class. I took it for granted sometime I wouldn’t go because the thought of doing something I didn’t enjoy for 6 hours was dreadful. I was told that my drawings weren’t good, and I showed inconsistency along with and unwillingness to learn; during my portfolio review in December. But I promise you I really tried it was just real honest feedback my professor was giving me because he knew I could do better. I have never drawn before entering CCP. My professors have taught me everything I know about putting what I saw in front of me down on paper. I’d give anything to get in the classroom one more time. I miss being in the studio with my classmates. My favorite part of the day is when the model would take a break. I would walk around the classroom looking at everyone’s amazing progress. My classmates are all so talented and kind. I hope one day we all meet again.
