Happy holidays everyone! We’re looking for your support this end-of-year season to continue doing what we do here at CRY!
We’re looking to raise at least 15K to cover staffing and operational costs, our rental, and to allow us to further develop our organisation with some long overdue roles and procedures!
CRY will be taking a pause after February to begin developing and fortifying Creative Resilient Youth so we can continue to serve young people in Philadelphia in relevant and impactful ways!
These funds would help support much of the development we will be doing during that time, which includes:
- HIRING STAFF!
- BUILDING OUT AND DEVELOPING OUR ADVISORY BOARD (which will help with developing programming, financial/grant writing support, hiring processes, etc.)
- COVERING STAFF and OUR RENTAL for 2025
- SUPPLIES for upcoming programming
And so much more!
Make a tax deductible donation today using the link in our bio! And please share within your networks!
Thank you all for such an amazing year! ♡
See y’all in 2025! 👼♡

If yes, boy have we got the opportunity for you!
Creative Resilient Youth is bringing together a cohort of 15 youth to learn what it means to be in community with various generations of q***rness, share an understanding around Q***r Theory, and learn how to courageously take charge of/share their own stories of and with their communities.
Youth will collaboratively design a quilt that portrays the beauty, struggle, and mundaneness of q***rness, taking inspiration and guidance from artists such as the late Faith Ringgold and many others.
The cohort will meet twice a week over the course of 15 weeks in the CRY space located at the Asian Arts Initiative. Participants will receive a stipend of $500 each for their time.
