Birthday table 🎂✨
After three months of preparation, we were finally ready for the Build from Within Alliance National Convening in Philadelphia.
It was a special two-day event with more than 200 people joining us across both days, and we were so proud to be part of it through The Welcoming Center.

Vacation is over, and I left them all back in Damascus with those teary eyes, looking at me like, “Stay… don’t go.” 🥹❤️
Everyone’s grown up so much and now they’re all young men and women! 😭❤️ We had such an amazing time together — so many laughs, good times, family gatherings, and just enjoying each other.
And the food… omg! 😂❤️ I ate ALL the good stuff — everything on the saj, grilled kibbeh, mixed grills, and all the amazing restaurants in Damascus. Seriously, the food in Sham is something else! 🤤
It was such a beautiful time and honestly one of the best vacations ever. ❤️🇸🇾
Now I’m in Egypt 🇪🇬, and next week, إن شاء الله, I’ll be back in America 🇺🇸 and back to the routine… alhamdulillah! 😂❤️
