I saw Wuthering Heights this weekend and the adaptation was mesmerizing. Yes, I’ve read the book. During the film though, i couldn’t get this image out of my head. So I made it. The dark Victorian pain and gothic overlays just present to me in that of horses. So here it is. Heathcliff, Catherine. Shoutout to the generational icon that was Emily Bronte.

For six decades, Magazine has recognized ‘People To Watch’ who embody the spirit of the creative community. Individuals we have come to respect for a combination of talent, success, newsworthiness, influence, thought-leadership and community service. I have been honored to have been named a “Person To Watch” in their 63rd year.

In a world where we are facing the implementation of technologies that claim to “do what we do”, staying relevant in an ever-changing industry means showing up as a human, as an artist. As designers, we are responsible for creating things that evoke emotions in people, and emotions are something that no technology can ever replace. I believe I stay relevant by showing up as my whole authentic and messy self in all the work I do.

2026 beginning and I was given the opportunity to create a custom piece for none other then . Honored is an understatement. I pitched my style to her among other artists and she reached out telling me she LOVED my style and wanted to commission a piece of her and .. thank you Cruella for your trust and support of the arts. This is my favorite, nastiest work to date.

2025 Annual Review 27/01/2026

Wow. Wow. Wow.. My second year designing the RKL LLP Annual Review. Can I be honest for a second? It was kind of daunting going into the design for this one--not only because we recently won a GDUSA Magazine American Design award for last years design-- but also because of how much I just really loved the look of the last one!

So the idea of kicking it up a notch felt like a challenge:

But, through all the research, recoloring, masking, and editing I am so extremely happy with the 2025 design result. People ask me all the time what it is like to work in-house and design for ONE brand all the time; with RKL, I never get tired of our look. Creating high-level design that focuses on our culture, our people and our story keeps new ideas coming and creative inspiration strong.

I am immensely grateful I had another year to put my all into the visual design of this publication and was incredibly happy to work with Allison Schlegelmilch, CDMP, PCM and Sarah Stehman (Johnson) who really captured the stories and the copy that served as the bones for the way this art came together.

Thank you RKL for always trusting me to design What's Next.

You can see and read it all here:
