🎭 Join us for the MusiCoLaboratory 🎭

The MusiCoLaboratory is a monthly gathering where members of our community share works-in-progress and offer one another thoughtful, generous feedback. It’s a developmental space — not a showcase — built around the idea that great musicals are made through conversation, curiosity, and community.

If you’re a musical theater creator - a composer, lyricist, bookwriter or director - in the Philadelphia area, we’d love to have you join us. Whether you’re deep into a full-length musical or just starting to explore the form, you’re welcome here.

As 2025 comes to a close, MusiCoLab is both proud of and thankful for this year of new musical development.

We are thankful for YOU!

From launching the MusiCoLaboratory—a monthly work-in-progress writers meet-up—to producing our third full developmental workshop RED & BLACK, we have had a full year of new work.

And it was thanks to the many audience members, Philly writers, local performers, and gracious donors that we had such a strong 2025.

If MusiCoLab made a positive impact in your 2025, we ask that you consider making a tax-deductible donation in the final hours of the year. We thank you, and we look forward to what 2026 will bring!
