This summer, Syriana Gil put her skills to work 💻✨

During a 6-week internship with RYLA, a startup redefining social networking around authentic relationships, Syriana:
📊 Led user research through surveys + interviews
🚀 Tested new platform features + supported product engagement
🎉 Helped plan events + create content that builds community

Through hands-on work with founder & CEO Meredith Tretiak, Syriana gained experience in digital marketing, UX research, and community management — all while contributing to RYLA’s mission of building tech that empowers people.

Now, she’s continuing her journey in LiftOff, building on her internship to prepare for high-wage, high-demand careers. We’re proud of her creativity + initiative, and grateful to RYLA for investing in the next generation of innovators. 🖤

🎨 Designing app prototypes from Ignite using Figma + Figma Make
💼 Completing paid internships and earning $4,500
🗓️ Spending a year (Sept–Aug) mastering code + design
