As a Philadelphia non-profit theatre company, we produce and develop new work by q***r playwrights

Founded in 2020 by a group of emerging theatre artists from the Greater Philadelphia Area, The Strides Collective’s main goal is to produce, amplify, and develop theatrical work by emerging playwrights that highlight authentic q***r characters and experiences. We’re committed to expanding our community of emerging q***r artists in Philly, and we want to get to know you! Interested in working with Strides? Fill out the form at the link in our bio!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a general interest form, not for a specific project. All future positions would come with a small stipend; exact details vary per opportunity. We will accept any and all submissions from artists who live in or around the Philadelphia area. We do not provide or reimburse housing or transportation.

Starring Joseph Ahmed as an ensemble of characters, this critically acclaimed one-person show illuminates the transition journey of a trans-man named Deen. 🚨We have one more position to fill!🚨

Applications are now OPEN for an exciting Collective role - Marketing & Social Media Manager! This position will help develop a marketing plan for the Collective and run our social channels! They will also be a full Collective member, helping bring q***r stories to life onstage in Philly.

1-3 hours per week. All Collective members are currently volunteers who receive a small stipend between $100-$500 per 12-month term. This role will receive a stipend of $250.
